Success Stories
The impact of our programs shines through the people we serve, from youth finding confidence in the ring to individuals discovering strength and healing through movement. As we continue our mission, we strive to reach more communities, breaking barriers and building a stronger, more connected future through the power of boxing.
"I first stepped into the ring when I was 11, and at the time, I was going through a lot, especially with my family and school. Little did I know that boxing is more than hitting one another, but a sweet science that incorporates immense discipline, technical footwork, and strategy similar to a chess match. For me, boxing was a haven where I could forget the worries and the “what ifs”. My experience with Rise Boxing is truly life-changing, and many of the lessons and teachings have transitioned into adulthood, playing an important role in my academic success. One of which is owning up to mistakes, but being proactive in changing those mistakes"

"I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease three years ago. My neurologist recommended that I look into boxing. I found RISE Boxing and after one session I was hooked and joined. The class is all Parkinson patients, and we come together three times a week to workout. Through boxing we improve our strength and balance showing us, although we have Parkinson's we can still be active and not let this disease dominate us. Here at RISE there is a community that supports one another. Come join us at RISE and rise up against.”
