Coach MG

Hometown: Santaquin, Utah

Maryguenn or MG is a Professional Boxer with an extensive amateur career. She was a 2x National Champion, 3x National Golden Gloves Silver Medalist, Ringside International Champion and has fought twice at Madison Square Garden as a pro.
MG started the gym as a way to blend her love of boxing and her work in the non-profit world. She saw that fitness and boxing empowered people in ways that could enable people to grow out of their challenges, whatever those challenges were and knows that the skills and strength learned in boxing improves peoples lives massively. She aims to leave a legacy of belief in yourself and to show that through hard work and commitment we can do anything we desire. Her classes are technical and high paced. She coaches everyone as if they will be a world champion, wether in a fitness class or as part of the competition team.

Hometown: Buena Park, CA
Marco is a professional MMA fighter, Muay-Thai fighter and a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. He often says that martial arts saved his life and he loves to share the knowledge he has with others. He is a highly skilled coach working with many of the top MMA fighters across the state as well as one on the leading prospects on the MMA scene. He specializes in Muay-Thai and BJJ and is the head coach for our MMA Programs. Marco brings a playful and light hearted attitude to his classes and while his classes are challenging, he loves to have fun while pushing people and sharing his unique style of striking.

Hometown: Pocatello, Idaho
Kendra is a very technical amateur fighter with her sights set on competing more at the national level. She started fitness boxing as another way to exercise, and thought it would be cool to learn some self-defense as a woman. When I spent some time learning the basics, that's when I fell in love with sport. She has since gone on to win two State Golden Glove titles and continues to grow as a fighter. Kendra is also a highly skilled Personal Trainer and her classes reflect her roots in fitness boxing and as a trainer.
Kendra loves to ski, run, and spend as much time with her pups and her husband as she can.

Chris is a versatile fighter and a promising prospect. He has fought Muay Thai, Boxing, and MMA and plans on being a champion in all those disciplines.
Chris loves coaching to see the growth and how people change both physically and mentally.
Chris’s dream is “To be #1 P4P fighter in the world and give me people hope.”

Luz found boxing while living in Park City, what started as a search for a solid workout quickly turned into something much deeper. She fell in love with the rhythm, focus, and mental clarity the sport brought her. Boxing became her therapy, a way to move through stress, feel grounded, and reconnect with herself. As a personal trainer and boxing coach, Luz is all about helping others tap into that same strength, physically and mentally.
Her classes at RISE are a mix of challenge and fun, designed to push limits, build real confidence, and leave you feeling better than when you walked in. Outside the gym, you’ll find Luz soaking up the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and bringing that same grounded, supportive energy into everything she does.
